Volunteering Geelong staff member Lucinda Tucker recently presented at the Study Geelong Employment Forum, held at the Geelong Library on August 3, 2017. Lucinda provided an enthusiastic audience of International Students an overview of how volunteering can often provide fantastic 'employability skills' and an understanding of workplace culture in Australia. Students were also provided with information on how to connect with local volunteer roles in the community.

After the event Lucinda commented "it's great to see such enthusiasm for the idea of volunteering in Geelong and surrounding regions, we had a great turn up and the students provided many follow up questions as to how volunteering can assist them in their career path"
