Congratulations to Liz Spurdle from City of Greater Geelong for receiving the 2017 Disability Award for Volunteering. The Victorian Disability Awards were held on 16 August at Zinc, Federation Square. These awards recognise people and organisations who make outstanding contributions to empowering people with a disability and creating an inclusive community.
The 'Volunteer' award recognises an individual or group working in a voluntary capacity who demonstrate exceptional skill and commitment that significantly contributes to improving outcomes for people with a disability. On behalf of Volunteering Geelong, well done Liz on being a 'stand out' volunteer and on your achievements.
