The National Standards for Volunteer Involvement are Australia's best practice road map for volunteering.This 3 hour interactive workshop provides an opportunity to become more familiar with the Standards, providing a background on how to utilise the National Standards as a benchmark for quality volunteer management.  

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:

  • Proceed through the standards Audit tool/checklists using the hard copy resource provided to participants in the workshop
  • Be familiar with evidence required to successfully implement the Standards, particularly in relation to their own programs
  • Be familiar with the resources that are available to support the implementation of the Standards and any new developments with regard to the Quality Mark system
  • Be familiar with suggested steps for actively implementing the standards

This session is targeted to Volunteer Managers and Coordinators who are already familiar with using National Standards and wish to advance their skills and knowledge to assist them with implementing the Standards in their own setting.
