Be part of something truly meaningful this Mother’s Day. The Mother’s Day Classic Foundation is calling for enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver the Geelong Mother’s Day Classic fun run and walk on Sunday, 10 May 2026.
Join a passionate community dedicated to raising vital funds for breast and ovarian cancer research, while helping create a safe, welcoming and inspiring event experience for participants of all ages.
About the Event
The Mother’s Day Classic is a nationally recognised event that has raised over $50.3 million for breast and ovarian cancer research. By volunteering, you’ll be supporting a powerful cause while contributing to a well-loved community tradition.
How You Can Help
As an on-the-day volunteer, your role may include:
Assisting with event set-up and pack-down
Supporting registrations, bag drop, or water stations
Guiding participants as a course marshal
Creating a positive, inclusive and energetic event-day atmosphere
Cheering on walkers and runners as they cross the finish line
No matter the role, your contribution will make a real difference.

Volunteer Details
Date: Sunday, 10 May 2026 (Mother’s Day)
Time Commitment: 3–7 hour shifts, depending on the role and your availability
