Programs
Building a stronger community for all
Volunteering Geelong partners with numerous other groups and organisations in the Geelong and Colac communities to deliver projects and programs to support people with specific needs.
Many of these projects and programs are designed to help people living in lower socio-economic areas, Indigenous people, people with a disability and new migrants.
The activities are often delivered with assistance from members of our community who volunteer their time, skills and knowledge.
If you are a funding body or organisation wishing to collaborate with Volunteering Geelong on an upcoming project, please contact us.

Since 2019, Volunteering Geelong has been coordinating the Impacting a Pathway to Employment Program.
Aimed at helping at-risk young people aged 15 to 25 years, each six-week course offers the participants support and advice to prepare them for employment.

Volunteering Geelong in collaboration with Geelong Community Foundation and Give Where You Live is delivering the Financial Capability program.

Anyone needing help to access a COVID-19 vaccination appointment in the Geelong and Colace regions is welcome to use the Volunteering Geelong community transport service.
