๐Ÿš— URGENT VOLUNTEER ROLE โ€“ Driver Mentor Needed

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support newly arrived women from diverse multicultural backgrounds as they take important steps toward independence and confidence on the road.

As a mentor, you will guide learner drivers in developing safe driving skills, while also encouraging their growth, self-belief, and sense of empowerment.

Beyond teaching road safety, you will play a vital role in helping women build confidence, overcome barriers and achieve the milestone of obtaining their driverโ€™s licence.

As a volunteer driver mentor, you will:
โ€ข Support learner drivers to build confidence and skills on Australian roads
โ€ข Coach safe driving practices and road knowledge
โ€ข Assist with basic vehicle care awareness
โ€ข Help women work towards gaining their driverโ€™s licence
โ€ข Provide encouragement in a culturally supportive environment

Requirements:
โœ” Valid Driverโ€™s Licence
โœ” Working With Children Check
โœ” National Police Check
โœ” Strong communication skills
โœ” Cross-cultural awareness (additional languages highly valued)
