Urgent – Patient Transport Drivers Required
Summary
We have an urgent need for a Patient Transport Driver, to pick up and drive home oncology patients. Being able to commit to the same day each week, ideally a Friday. however, we can be flexible.
St John of God Hospital is in urgent need of additional Patient Transport Drivers to support our oncology patients during a difficult time. We are seeking volunteers able to commit to the same day every week, to pick up patients from their homes, possibly 30 minutes away, wait for them to receive chemotherapy, then drive them home. Vehicle and phone are provided. Must be personable, compassionate and reliable. Full training will be provided to support you.
You will be required from around 8am – 5pm, but this will vary depending on the needs of our Oncology Ward. The number of patients varied on any day will vary.
