We often measure volunteering in hours, but the real impact is measured in connections. Last year, Volunteering Geelong helped facilitate over 1078 hours of service across the region.

But what does that actually look like? It looks like a senior citizen receiving a warm meal and a friendly chat. It looks like our local parks staying clean and vibrant. Most importantly, it looks like a more connected, resilient Geelong.

Volunteering isn’t just about “doing work”—it’s about belonging. We want to thank every single person who donned a high-vis vest or sat behind a registration desk this year. You are the heartbeat of this city.
